Danny Schumpert commenced his career photographing the Soldier's on Fort Jackson 16 years ago for the SSI Recruiting & Retention Schools. Danny Schumpert commenced his career photographing the Soldier's on Fort Jackson 16 years ago for the SSI Recruiting & Retention Schools. He owes his sincere gratitude to CSM LaPuma for giving him the opportunity to serve the greatest men and women the defenders of our nation. CSM LaPuma saw a talent with his photographic and people talent that meet the Standards required by the Army and his soldiers.
By some accounts, Danny has photographed in excess of 85,000 Soldiers and counting.
Since 2000, Danny is now responsible for the photography on Fort Jackson for the USADSA which includes the BCT Drill Sergeant and PLT Sergeant AIT Sergeants, the 369th AG BN AIT 36B and 42A MOS, the NCO Academy ALC and SLC 36B, 42A, 56M, 79R and 79S, F4 and F5 and the Battle Staff Command schools.
Coupled with the creative and artistic talents of his son, Jordan, together the Standard has been exceeded. Jordan's implementation of his original ideas allow us to offer photographic services not found at other posts and installations. The Soldiers now have the opportunity to receive professional portraits and larger group photos. Danny and Jordan's mission are to maintain moral for the Soldiers and their families.
Danny and Jordan are honored to know their work continues to travel the world and becomes a part of the Soldier's life.
